Application & Material
The mechanical properties of heat treatable alloy components can be optimised by the selection of an appropriate solution and age process sequence. For certain alloys, corrosion resistance can, for example, be improved at the expense of strength and vice versa. This process also called WP Treatment (or) TS (or) nd Age Hardening.
Solution treating is typically performed in the 450 to 550°C range certain hours and followed by rapid quenching into Normal(or) hot water.After the Solutioning treatment Components baked in 140 to 180°C certain hours depending upon the material.
ABOUT OUR BOTTOM DROP FURNACE(BDF)
Drop Bottom furnaces which are intended for solution heat treatment of Aluminum parts. Those furnaces integrate solution heat treatment and quenching into one controllable operation. Our furnaces in customized designs and specifications as per the exact requirements of Aluminium Solutioon heat Treating process and clients requirement. Our BDFsystems eliminate the material handling aspects and solution heat treat component parts with a immediate quench cycle that is 10 seconds or less. .
